About Third Eye Soul Kitchen
Chef Empress Xia Nei and Third Eye Soul Kitchen focuses on reconnecting our community to the power of fungi medicine, an ancestral way of eating, and creating a space for us to be well. Through our café and event space, we connect people to our local farmers through educational markets that provide seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables. We not only provide healthy and delicious meals for our community, we also teach cooking classes that center a plant based diet, and measures to stop food waste. We offer a space that honors our connections to the earth’s gifts of food and life, through the souls of our bodies in a sacred way of healing.
We nourish, build, and empower our city and community through our Café and Event Space. The Café offers healing meals, juices, and smoothies, all in a lounge that is a hub for creativity. Our markets provide fresh produce on a weekly basis. The space is rented at an affordable rate to foster community space.
Vision
Our offerings are community based in the heart of West Oakland providing fresh local produce, healthy meals, community educational workshop, healthy eating, cooking and living. We value cultivating a place for the community to have healing food from the soul, honoring the sacred energy that food and fungi provides for our bodies. We hope to inspire through educational workshops, artist and music events, and community gatherings.
